A proud moment for all Norwegians, to welcome the world to a real winter sport adventure with its simplicity and enthusiasm. A record number of spectators in the winter games ever , before and to the present. The flame came flying in the air by a ski JUmper and lit by His Royal Highness Crown Prince haakon of Norway. Norwegian folklore music and dance with Norwegian horses and fidles, a performance by the Sami people with raindeers, a fairy tale of elfs and gnoms from the underground and winter sport culture of playing......
